Jane Munden qualified as a Solicitor in 1994. She became a Partner in the firm in 2001. She has well over 20 years experience in dealing with all aspects of Family Law.
Jane is a member of the Law Society Advanced Accreditation Scheme and also the Family Law Children Accreditation Scheme. These are both specialist Accreditations. The latter is to represent both parents and children in proceedings brought by the Local Authority for Care Orders.
Her Family Law Accreditation relates to domestic violence in the home and Private Children Law i.e. residence and contact disputes.
She is also a member of Resolution. In addition, she covers all aspects of divorce. This includes same sex marriage and Civil Partnerships. She advises on financial matters flowing from divorce and dissolution and her cases have ranged from couples who have had very high value assets including companies, rental properties and pensions, to cases where the parties have very limited assets and their needs have been a major factor.
She also advises in cases where the parties have not married but own property together.
After graduating from the University of Sheffield, Jill qualified as a Solicitor in 1979. Jill joined Newman & Bond in 1989.
Jill specialises in all aspects of commercial and residential Conveyancing including property development, business lease and transactions involving agricultural land and charity land.
Andrew Russell is a Senior Solicitor with a wide range of experience in all private client matters including wills, administration of estates, inheritance tax, lasting powers of attorney, Court of Protection work and managing the affairs of the elderly. He is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners - a body for experienced practitioners in the field.
Sonia Parkes is a Litigation Executive, an Affiliate Member of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives and a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers. Sonia has 28 years experience of representing people who have been involved in road traffic accidents, accidents in a public place or sustained a work related injury/disease. Sonia also has a particular interest in cosmetic surgery claims and represents women in Barnsley who have been victims of the PIP Breast Implant scandal.
Adam joined the firm in 2010 as a Trainee Solicitor qualifying in 2012. Adam takes instructions on a range of Commercial transactions including sales and purchases, leases and business sales and purchases. He also has a history of working with business clients dealing with debt recovery matters frequently on the small claims track. Recently, Adam has also been assisting with residential property transactions.
Adam has a strong connection with the area having grown up locally in Penistone and studying in Leeds throughout university.
Through this connection with the area Adam is a keen supporter of Citizens Advice Barnsley and has been involved with the Charity since 2015. Also in his spare time Adam enjoys going to Oakwell to support Barnsley FC whenever possible and also getting to the gym or outside for a run or walk.
